Prospect at E. 40th. Cleveland, OH.
Best diner in Cleveland. Open 7 days. Insane classic diner interior, dark green marble counter, stainless steel, green Formica, always interesting people. (No biscuits and gravy) but grits!
Closed.
Now: Moe and Ruth’s (or something). FAKE businessman’s diner. $5.00 hamburgers. Don’t go—sucks massively. (George’s RIP)

I really miss the old George's Diner, it really was the best diner in the area until it closed down. Lots of really great ideal diner memories of that place.
Just today I noticed a news item about the place - apparently Ruthie & Moe's closed down sometime last year:
Ruthie And Moe's Diner Gets New Life
03-06-2007 6:26 AM
(Cleveland, OH) -- A popular Cleveland restaurant will get new life. A Westlake man who operates several eateries around greater Cleveland has acquired the former Ruthie and Moe's Diner. The converted rail car in the Midtown district has been empty for the past year. New owner Samir Khouri says he'll change the name, but the comfort food-laden menu will stay the same. The revamped diner is expected to open on May 1st.
Great place, good food, nice people :) you should try!
