Bearden's Drive-In

19985 Lake Rd. Rocky River, OH. Home of the Peanut Butter Burger. Great onion rings (up there with Skyway and Ernsberger’s). Not real cheap. Toy train around top of wall. (Also, Bearden’s Restaurant 4118 Rocky River Dr.)

I forgot that there was more than one Bearden's location.

It's definitely not a very vegetarian-friendly restaurant. We tried to go there at some point in the last few years, mainly for their onion rings.

Turned out the night we went there, they were out of onion rings! We ended up getting really anemic grilled cheese sandwiches and boring french fries, all served up on paper plates. Bleh.

It would have been nice to have a peanut butter boca burger, but I guess you can't really expect a place that's known for having the best hamburgers in town to serve up fake hamburgers.

How can you be out of onion rings? If a restaurant runs out of something like hash browns or onion rings, that means they get them frozen, already prepared, and they aren't worth shit in the first place so be glad they ran out.
