Detroit at W. 117th, Cleveland, OH. Open 24 hours, 7 days!
Not inspiring in décor, but kind of dark—counter and booths. Eggs Benedict special, with coffee—$4.00—real good—fair homefries. Crowded on Sunday morning—lots of regulars. “House of Moy” next door closed—Detroiter will expand. Cool building with bathroom and offices upstairs. Bakery Bldg.
UPDATE: Detroiter moved to where House of Moy was, vice versa. Detroiter SUCKS now—no personality, all earthtones and bullshit.

Great reviews. Are these reviews you did in 1989? A few diners to check out.
Frank's Diner 508 58th St, Kenosha, WI (since it says you're living in Milwaukee)
Jolly Donut US Rt 250, Sandusky, OH
Fleetwood Diner in downtown Ann Arbor (if you ever make it up there, it's a must!)

Thanks, Mike, yes, this is just a list of places I ate in Cleveland at the end of the 1980's. After this I'm going to see if I have notes on other places I've lived, and also write about some current places, mostly Milwaukee, where I live now.
I love Frank's Diner! That's a good one. Yeah, I stop at the Fleetwood Diner any time I'm going through Ann Arbor.
I grew up in Sandusky but didn't realize Jolly Donut was an old diner, bricked over, until I was like 40! Markley's is also a good one (picture, bottom of this page). It looks terrible from the outside, but is great inside, and has been exactly the same for years and years.
Have you been to Lisbon, OH? I haven't been there in years, but Crosser's and The Steel Trolley are my favorite diners in Ohio.
I'll check out your websites, thanks!
